Fox Valley Winery specializes in creating small lots of handcrafted, award-winning wines. Many varieties are made from estate grown, single-vineyard Illinois grapes. Our full-service winery and tasting room is located at 5600 U. S Rte. 34 in Oswego, Illinois. We offer wine tastings every day and host special events year-round. 2019 Featured Wines

Dry Wines

  • 2018 Dry Rosé This Rosé made from Merlot grapes, featuring heaps of strawberry on the nose, coupled with ripe pears, and a whiff of honeysuckle in the background.
  • Seyval Blanc A light refreshing white wine with subtle citrus notes, flavors of crisp sweet pear, green apple and palate pleasing tartness.
  • 2017 Landot Noir A fruit forward medium bodied dry red offering red plum, subtle earthy notes, and hints of oak aromas. This Illinois Red is easy drinking and finishes with light tannin, subtle notes of blended pipe tobacco, hints of leather, and soft white pepper.
  • 2012 Big Terra Merlot This Merlot is massive in comparison to most of its kind. Aromas and flavors of plum and blackberries, with hints of vanilla. The perfectly aged tannins coat the mouth, giving structure that few wines can attain.

Semi-Sweet to Sweet

  • Riesling Awarded Double Gold and Best Open Class White Wine – Illinois State Fair 2018. This popular German style white wine offers loads of floral aromas on the nose with tender acidity and lingering fruit on the palate…a clean crisp and refreshing Riesling.
  • White Sangria A fun and friendly fruity sweet white with flavors of lemon, lime and orange added. Place pieces of your favorite chilled fruit in your glass for a little more, fruity fun.
  • Corruption Red This true Illinois sweet red blend was crafted primarily from Estate grown Frontenac grapes, offers full fruit flavors of sweet cherry and succulent sweet plum flavors.
  • Sweet Beginnings A sweet white wine with aromas of tropical fruits and melon. Smooth and sweet start to finish.
  • Festival Special   L’Amor  {An American Dessert Wine} Frontenac & Noiret grapes, crafted in a traditional dessert wine style, infused with chocolate & orange 19.2% abv
